Friday Night Welcome Party (2/6):

We’ll be kicking things off with our welcome party on Friday night at the Fairmount Rowing Club. This is a separate event from the wedding day, and we’d love to see you there! Dress code casual (come as you are).

Welcome Party Parking
• Parking is available at Lloyd Hall (very close and the most convenient option).
• There is also a covered parking lot at the Philadelphia Museum of Art nearby.
• Ubers and Lyfts are also a great option for this event.

Wedding Day Parking (2/7):
• There are several parking garages very close to the Meetinghouse, as well as limited street parking nearby.
• The Franklin Institute has a garage open 24/7 for $25.
• Ubers and Lyfts are plentiful throughout the weekend and are often the easiest option.


Ceremony Location and Entrance:
Our ceremony will be at Race Street Friends Meetinghouse.
Please enter at 1502 Race St, Philadelphia, PA 19102. That address will bring you directly to the correct entrance.


Transportation From the Ceremony to the Reception:
We will have a shuttle making continuous runs after the ceremony from Race Street Friends Meetinghouse to our reception at the Franklin Institute.
If you prefer, you can also:
• Walk (about 10 minutes, 0.5 miles)
• Take an Uber (about 5 minutes)

Transportation From the Reception to the After Party:
We will have a shuttle making continuous runs after the reception from the Franklin Institute to the after party at the Black Sheep Pub. You can also take an Uber, it is under 1 mile away (about 10 minutes via car).

Weather:
February in Philadelphia can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a warm coat and an umbrella just in case. Fingers crossed!

Getting to philadelphia

  1. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL): ~20 minutes by car or train to Center City

  2. Amtrak / 30th Street Station: ~10 minutes from the venues

  3. Newark (EWR): ~1.5 hours by train or car

  4. JFK / LaGuardia (NYC): ~2 hours away — doable if you like adventure

Getting Around when you’re Here

  1. By Foot: Most events are within walking distance in Center City. Comfortable shoes recommended.

  2. By Car: Parking garages are available near both venues; rideshares are easy to find.

  3. Shuttle: Transportation between the ceremony and reception and the reception and after party will be provided.

  4. Public Transit: SEPTA and regional rail stop nearby; 30th Street Station is about 10 minutes from the venues.
